When a website redesign is requested by a client zingfit, you will need to transition to our IFrame.
For Full Integrations: It's mandatory to transition to the IFrame.
For Standard Integrations: We'll evaluate the number of changes you require to your design and advise you on the best approach.
Why do I need to change my Integration for a redesign?
We are sunsetting the Standard and Full Integrations as a zingfit offering and moving forward on IFrame Integrations. As we continue to focus on delivering the best scheduling, e-commerce and studio management software for boutiques we want to provide our clients with the tools to control their brand—all within their zingfit Admin/Account. Our IFrame Integration means all the design and implementation of your digital brand is in your control.
The Old Approach:
Our old approach providing customization and development for our studios' branded schedule, customer purchases, etc. was through a Standard or Full Integration—zingfit clients would be provided with 3rd party hosted pages (Standard Integration) or a fully-hosted website (Full Integration).
Our Professional Services team would provide development services, taking your website designs (Full Integration) and your existing website (Standard Integration) and marrying it to the pages we hosted. This added extra complexity for our clients having to maintain their website through zingfit or having to maintain 2 sets of design.
Other pain points for our clients with a Standard or Full Integration included paying for professional services and lead times for small changes to their digital content—and even longer lead times and larger fees services for more significant redesigns.
Our new IFrame Integration:
Our new IFrame Integration is the new way to integrate your branded scheduling and zingfit content into your digital website and deliver a seamless customer journey—so your clients are always engaging with your brand!
With the new IFrame integration, updating colors, styles, CSS elements and more are fully controlled in your zingfit Admin without needing to submit web development request for small to large updates/changes to your website. There will no longer be a wait for zingfit to turn around your request or a bill once it's completed.
Question: How does the studio use the IFrame to control everything on their end?
The answer to this is the zingfit IFrame integration. Zingfit's IFrame is an elegant solution that is integrated into your website. We an easy-to-use admin tool for you to style your iframe and for your developer to do further work using our CSS editor tool.
With a zingfit IFrame integration, any redesign or changes are in the hands of the studio. With our IFrame's templates, configuration tools, our CSS Editor Tool, the studio can now create the branded scheduling experience themselves and easily embed it on their website without the need for Professional Services, Web Development and being billed for these services by zingfit.
Can I see a studio who is actively using IFrame?

I need my website to be redesigned: How do I do this with IFrame integration, if I am on a Standard or Full integration right now?
Great question! To start the process of converting your current zingfit Integration to an IFrame Integration, please go here to make the request. Select the change request called, IFrame Conversion.
From there, one of our Project Managers will connect with you to go over next steps. We'll provide you with our iframe documentation to reference throughout the setup process. Our first step will be to enable your iframe on your Staging tenant, so you can familiarize yourself with the controls and model it for production. We'll also determine a go-live date and time.
If you are a Full Integration: Given you are redesigning your website, you will already have a Designer helping you and you will also need to use a Web Developer to help you host and build your new website on Squarespace, Wordpress, Weebly, Spacecraft etc. If you're technically minded, you can also do this yourself on Squarespace. If you want a CMS that comes with extra helps, Spacecraft is a great option too.
If you want to find a new CMS platform that includes a professional services team: to help you with design and hosting, check out Spacecraft. zingfit can refer you to their team too. Please drop a line to our Support Team to facilitate a referral. AND if you are working with a developer/designer of your own, they will be able to advise you on the best CMS and hosting, etc.
If you are on a Standard Integration: You are already hosting your own website and will have a developer who helps you maintain your website, or know how to make changes yourself,...in this case adding the IFrame is very easy.)
Great, I have submitted my request to convert to the Iframe, I have started working on my redesigned website and I have a Project Manager at zingfit supporting me. What happens next?

Do I pay more for the iframe?
I currently use a zingift vanity URL with my Standard Integration - what happens?
