For studios that are running on Release Date class schedules (i.e. where the studio class schedule updates on a particular time/day of the week), Advanced Booking offers an attractive upsell or perk for studios to offer to their customers. Advanced Booking allows studio customers to see and book into the updated schedule a certain number of days in advance of other customers. So for two-day advanced booking for a studio with a Sunday noon release date, this would allow Advanced Booking customers to book for the following week beginning at noon on the Friday previous.
Market Advanced Booking as an Upsell.
Sell an Advanced Booking Series as a VIP package. If the original 10-Pack price is $180, offer a VIP 10-Pack with Advance Booking for $220.
Market Advanced Booking as a Perk.
Offer the Advanced Booking as a perk with more expensive Series packages such as a 20-Pack or a multi-month unlimited Contract. You can also offer certain Series with this perk to members of a group only.
To set up Advanced Booking
BEFORE YOU START, submit a ticket at https://zingfithelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us to set up Advanced Booking for your studio -- specify the number of days booking should be advanced. Once confirmation is received from zingFit support, proceed to the steps below
- Either create a new VIP Series/Contract or edit an existing Series/Contract where the perk is to be applied (Scheduling/Retail > Series/Contracts)
- Under the Booking Options panel, select Yes For Advanced Booking
To set up Extended Booking
The same process as Advanced Booking set up above except in step two, select Yes For Extended Booking. NOTE: There are not too many scenarios where it would be advantageous to offer both advanced Booking and Extended Booking on the same Series/Contract.
Furthermore, it is possible to extend booking for contracts with recurring billing, such as 12-month contracts by going into System Settings and scrolling down to find the "Recurring Days to Extend" field and typing in x number of days to extend booking.
But for auto-renewing contracts (one month contract, becomes another one month contract, etc.), the extended booking will not apply. A member of an auto-renewal contract will not be able to book past their expiration/renewal date since there are no terms for past the billing date until the billing date comes to pass.
Selecting Yes for Priority Waitlist will put these Series holders above other customers, with other priority waitlist customers on booking.
Selecting Yes for Extended Cancellation will allow these Series holders to cancel bookings within the late cancel window without penalty.

For example, a studio would request that Advanced Booking be set to "3" days or that Extended Cancellation be set to "6" hours.
