Contracts are the lifeblood of the fitness industry. Recurring billing creates a predictable source of income so tracking the status of your customer contracts is a vital part of studio health. In zingFit's Contract report, studios can manage and evaluate all existing contracts in one place. Access the Contracts report by clicking Admin > Reports > Contracts
Active Contracts/Failed Billing
Recurring Contracts are often expired due to a failed collection attempt. In the Failed Billing portion of this report, studios will be able to take payment on the spot or choose another card on file. The Gateway Reason should be taken into consideration; if the card on file was declined, it may be necessary to save a new card before attempting the transaction again. Once the transaction is successful the expired contract will re-active honoring the original activation date.
Active vs. Recently Expired Contracts
Click on the Contract name to get more information on the state of the customer holding that contract. Studios can then choose to view this specific contract filtered by Active or Recently Expired status. NOTE: Where light grey arrows are present in the column header, the column is sortable.
